I learnt to draw by looking at the book on pre-raphaelite illustrations of Arthurian myth I had at home. So from time to time I go YAY ROSSETTI, GONNA DRAW SICKLY LOOKING FEMME FATALES WITH STRONG JAWLINES AND FULL LIPS AND QUESTIONABLE ANATOMY NOW.
But yeah, I want this pose for Brienne. For obvious reasons.

Drawn in ballpoint pen between classes at university. I didn’t want to post it because this is not the sort of thing one attempts without an eraser and a reference for the hands… but yeah, whatever. Jaime/Brienne feelings. Also I like the way she came out. IS IT SUNDAY YET.
So… that happened.
It’s alright, Jaime, I know you are not feeling your best at the moment, but there’s plenty of precedent for beloved one-handed characters in fiction. You are in really fine company. No, really.

I commissioned a sketch from mirecuerdoentusojos (she’s taking more commissions, you guys!) and just finished coloring it. :D It’s two of my favorite characters in a weirdass crossover friendship I want to see, where Kurt and Sansa can sit and talk about pretty clothes and pretty boys and being relentlessly abused by the narrative!
OMG THIS LOOKS INCREDIBLE. I did the lineart, yes, but LOOK AT THE PRETTY COLOURS AND TEXTURES <3
(and wouldn’t Kurt and Sansa make the most delightful team ever? Well, they’d mostly drool over Loras a lot, but still)

Worth mentioning: I mostly draw Game of Thrones and Glee, with some very obvious bias as regards to ships and characters (you don’t say!), but I don’t mind trying something different! Actually, I might even draw Vikings too, or original characters if you prefer.
